CONTENT STRATEGY: A+E NETWORKS

CHALLENGE

In Germany, there are two pay-TV channels, representing the American media corporation A+E Networks: HISTORY and A&E. 

In order to create a clear positioning for A&E, to generate more awareness for the channel and to drive more traffic on the website, I developed a content strategy for a blog that is integrated into the main webpage. Here, the specific content creates a clear vision for the channel.

CONTENT CREATION: NBC UNIVERSAL

CHALLENGE

NBC Universal hosts several pay-TV channels in Germany, including the science fiction channel SYFY. In October 2018, SYFY premiered the new series Krypton in Germany. To promote the start of the new programme, the channel launched a content campaign introducing and following the show.

IMPLEMENTATION
  • Creating of a content plan for the campaign, split into three different phases of activation
  • Daily publishing of different content on the website for 4 weeks

  • Topical build-up for the website users and social media followers
  • Extensive coverage of the show

WEBSITE COPY: GIK

CHALLENGE

The Gesellschaft für integrierte Kommunikationsforschung (Society for integrated communication research), GIK in short, is a partnerhsip of the five big German media corporations Axel Springer SE, Bauer Media Group, Funke Mediengruppe, Gruner + Jahr GmbH & Co KG and Hubert Burda Media. Together, they execute and publish market and media studies, in order to provide their customers and partners with relevant advertisement data. 

In 2018, the website of the GIK has been completely renewed to make it easier for homepage visitors to understand the concept and the work of the GIK and to create a more modern look. The end goal was to combine three separate homepages into one wholesome and appealing website.

CONTENT LOCALISATION: TIME WARNER

CHALLENGE

The American media corporation Turner Broadcasting System owns several pay-TV channels in Germany, including the kids channel Cartoon Network. To entertain the special target group, Cartoon Network continuously launches new quizzes and online games that need to be adapted for the German market.

IMPLEMENTATION
  • Inspection of the content
  • Close deliberation with the marketing department concerning already established wordings
  • Translation of the English content

  • Continuous supply of target group matching content for the German market.
